So,there´s this thing about the two sisters and designers of Capara. They were born in Bosnia and raised in Ludwigsburg. I was born in Croatia,my parents are from Bosnia and i was raised in Stuttgart as well, after we escaped from the former Yugoslavia Civil-War. Of course i was way too excited to see their first show in Berlin, not just because of the designs but also because i feel connected in a special way.
The atmosphere before the show: somehow strong and mysterious. As soon as the first look was presented, i was fascinated by the colorful and dynamic designs. Make-Up Artist Loni Baur created the Make-Up by using Catrice products. She kept it simple with a bold blue eyeliner, that reflected most of the looks perfectly. I like the idea of having an eyeliner, especially a colored one. We get used too much to classic black, right? Catrice has a huge selection of eyeshadows, which you can easily transform into an eyeliner,by just using it with a wet brush. Try it out. You can always go back to black,if you think it doesn´t suit you. Speaking of colors, we saw bright blues, a rich complementary orange, reds, nudes and graphic prints. My personal highlight have been the cut-out heeled boots. They reminded me of the 70´s, especially because i remember my mum wearing similar ones in old pictures. I also liked the idea of the classic cutted coat with the twist of a bomber jacket.
What do you think?
